REPRODUCTION STEPS
1. [Write the first local action without private connection details]
2. [Write the next visible result]
3. [Write the final visible result]

EXPECTED RESULT
- [Describe the expected preview or capture behavior]

OBSERVED RESULT
- [Describe the visible app behavior or error category; redact identifiers]

- [ ] No complete private RTSP URL or LAN IP address
- [ ] No serial number, device name, local path, or captured media

When to use it

Use the report after a visible failure.

Prepare it when macOS does not list a USB source, ScopeDock cannot preview or capture, a manual RTSP stream fails, or ONVIF discovery is incomplete. It separates observable behavior from private connection details.

Known boundary

A report is not a diagnosis.

ScopeDock 1.1.1 supports compatible USB UVC, manual RTSP, and ONVIF paths on macOS 12 or later. This template does not test hardware, validate a stream, install a driver, or guarantee a camera model.

FAQ

What this template does and does not do

Does this page inspect my camera or Mac?

No. The template is static. It does not read hardware, scan a network, inspect local files, or detect a camera path.

Does copying the template send a report to NgSense?

No. Copy uses your browser clipboard and print uses the browser print dialog. Nothing is submitted by either action.

What should I remove before sending a support message?

Remove credentials, complete private RTSP URLs, LAN IP addresses, serial numbers, device names, local file paths, captured media, and other identifiers.

Can this report confirm that a camera model is compatible?

No. It records observed USB UVC, manual RTSP, or ONVIF behavior. It is not an automatic diagnosis or a model-specific compatibility guarantee.
