Policy

CursorHop Privacy Policy

Scope

This policy applies to the CursorHop macOS application distributed by NgSense. Website visits are covered by the NgSense website privacy policy.

Information CursorHop does not collect

CursorHop does not record keyboard input, take screenshots or screen recordings, read clipboard contents, inspect user files, or upload mouse trajectories and screen layouts. The app does not use display navigation as an activity-monitoring system.

Local display and pointer processing

CursorHop reads the display arrangement made available by macOS so it can identify Screen 1-N, follow physical display directions, place the pointer, show Screen Overlay, and reveal the pointer with Find Cursor. These operations are processed on the Mac.

App Finder

App Finder uses local information that macOS exposes about running applications so a user can activate an app by its initial and cycle matching candidates. CursorHop does not upload the names of running applications or use them for advertising.

Accessibility

The App Store channel does not request Accessibility permission. The Direct channel requests Accessibility only when a user chooses active-window movement or focus features that require it. Accessibility is used to act on the active window; window titles and contents are not uploaded.

Purchases and plan status

Free and Pro are plans within one CursorHop app per installation channel. App Store purchases are processed by Apple. NgSense does not receive full payment-card details from Apple. Any future Direct purchase or entitlement flow will be documented before it becomes publicly available.

Feedback and contact

Feedback is sent only when a user actively submits it. The message may include user-entered diagnostic context such as the app channel, macOS version, or display count. Contact information is optional. Do not include private screen content unless it is necessary and safe to share.

For privacy questions, email support@ngsense.com.

Changes

NgSense may update this policy when CursorHop features, permissions, or distribution channels change. The current published page is the authoritative version.
